Unusual shipping Old Watercolor Painting of a Show Horse on Grid Paper - Double Matted and Framed, Read more!

This piece of art came shipping from the local estate of a doctor that passed away many years ago. He was an avid collector and investor in the Kentucky Derby horse races in the 1950s and 60s. This piece of art came from the auction, but no information is known. It is a watercolor painting done on grid paper with obvious lines and practice marks. It has been professionally framed with double matting. The family and auctioneer did remove the paper covering off the back in an effort to find any information knowing that the doctor had multiple pieces of original valuable artwork. The true story of this piece went to the grave with the collector. It measures 22.75" long by 18.75" tall and is under glass. Please view all photos as they are part of the description.
