This is a set of 7, 4-piece place settings in the pattern 'Lovely Lady' made by Holmes & Edwards. The pattern was designed by Edward J. Conroy and introduced in 1937. The design at the top of the handle is a floral arrangement in a basket that includes a couple of piercings for more definition. The floral pattern cascades down each side of the handle in a narrow border. There is no monogram. The reverse side has the basket/floral detail as well. They are the grille or viande style with elongated handles for the knife and dinner fork. The shipping teaspoon is standard at 6 1/4", the dinner forks are 7 3/4", the salad forks are 6 3/4" and the knives, 8 1/2". All the pieces are in excellent condition. There are some fine scratches from light use but the set retains its mirror finish. This listing is for 7, 4-piece place settings.
