Bee Gourd shipping

This gourd was a combined effort. Sherry Holland painted the design and Linda Huppert did the coiling in a Native American style. The rim is coiled and stitched dyed Long Leaf pine needles with beads and a slice of hickory nut shell embedded in the coils. The rim is embellished with a small metal bee and found natural elements. These elements include palm inflorescence, curly acacia, cedar cones, Christmas Palm end shipping cap and acorns. The gourd measures approx.5.5" in diameter and 6" high.
