A B O U T • T H E • P I E C E

This gorgeous Dual Birthstone Bracelet is made using three man made gemstones or opals that have been set in sterling silver tube bezels. I have used a thick 2mm (12g) sterling silver wire, which means it is sturdy, but adjustable. They are made to shipping pull apart and squeeze slightly.

✦ SYNTHETIC OPAL: The opals I use are certified by the GIA as being a true synthetic opal, which means it has all the properties of a natural opal. The colors in the opal are produced by the light and are not dyed or produced artificially. The difference between synthetic and natural opal, is that the slow process that a natural opal goes through is sped up in a lab for about a year to produce synthetic opals. Because they contain at least 80% silica, they are not as fragile as natural opals and will not crack, dry out, yellow, or lose its fire over time. These qualities make them a great alternative for everyday jewelry. Plus, the colors they come in are amazing! I work directly with the opal manufacturer to have them custom made to my specifications.

Because of the opening of the bracelet, the cuff is slightly adjustable. The medium size (6") seems to fit an average women's wrist size. The cuffs have an open area of ~ .75" - 1" for you to slide your wrist through, then turn the bracelet to fit. A bracelet cuff should fit approximately .5" - 1" bigger than your wrist size, depending on the size gap you'd like. To measure your wrist, use a fabric measuring tape or string to measure where the bracelet will fit you, typically past the wrist bone.

• MEDIUM (average size): 6" with ~1" opening // 2.3" diameter

• LARGE: 6.5" with ~1" opening // 2.5" diameter

• X-LARGE: 7" with ~1" opening // 2.7" diameter
