Stunning and highly collectible Judy Lee book chain necklace & bracelet set. Both the necklace and bracelet are gold tone with highly detailed repousse etchings on the book chain links.
The necklace measures 16" long x 1" wide. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" long x 1" wide.
Both Close with a secure wide fold over clasp. The gold tone finish is in very good condition.

History: JUDY LEE -- Blanch-ette, Inc., Chicago, IL; 1949 -- c. 1980
The Blanch-Ette Company, Chicago founded in the late 1950s produced Judy Lee costume jewelry. It produced jewelry of rhinestones, simulated stones and pearls stamped in silver toned metal. The company employed marketing and distribution methods similar to Emmons, Sara Coventry and Avon and the jewelry was sold through house parties. It was of average quality, not very common on the market, but had interesting traditional designs set with high quality clear and colored rhinestones.
