Smiths Acrylic Mantel Clock - 1970s - Vintage - Rare shipping - UNUSED

A Smiths acrylic mantel clock from the 1970s.

Made in Great Britain.

This is the "Eiger" model.

This stylish clock is in very nice original condition.

A well made clock, a rare find.

Black and silver acrylic with grey dial, black stylised numerals, black hands.

This was fitted with a mains movement which I have replaced with a new, very quiet, German made quartz movement,this make it much more usable with no cables, It keeps perfect time. It will run for well over a year with one AA battery.

The original hands have been adapted, including the second hand, it is a little time consuming, but worth the effort, there is nothing worse than a clock with hands that do not match the original design of the clock.

The clocks I sell are all vintage and some will have shipping some age related wear. I will bring attention to any flaws in this description.

Clocks are fully tested and are kept running up to dispatch to ensure correct time keeping.
