Ceramic bowls in the Glenaldie pattern by Tain Pottery, Scotland. On the Tain website there are "Candle Bowls" at 4.4 inches and "Medium Bowls" at 5 inches - these are in the middle at 4.6 Inches (4 5/8 inches).

Gorgeous and subtle hand decorated blue and red tartan pattern with Scottish thistle.

Excellent condition with shipping no chips or cracks. Marked on the bottom with the Tain lion stamp.

Great as part of a collection, of course, but also very interesting and pretty as special bowls.
