Vintage Signed Taxco Sterling Turquoise & Glass Inlay Hinged Bangle Bracelet 42g

This vintage Taxco bracelet is signed TC-167. Sometime after 1979 the eagle signature system was retired in Mexico and replaced with the current signing system. The first letter represents the city that the artisan was located in. This particular bracelet is marked T, for Taxco. The second letter is the first name of the artisan, followed by their city registration number.

This rich signature history is stamped on the shipping gorgeous turquoise and glass inlay bracelet. Striking bright blue, green and light blue turquoise is enhanced by mosaic created with dark blue glass and set in sterling silver. The pattern is geometric, possibly a representation of the Aztec pyramids. The bracelet is 7.25" and is 21.57mm wide. It weighs 42.37g total.
