Japanese Color Engraving of Three Figures in shipping a Landscape

Surrounding the three figures is a lovely
vibrant landscape of bright red trees, waterfall,
rocks and a mountain in the distance.

This is an original insert from a book
by Gensai Murai entitled ”Hana. A Daughter of Japan."
Published by The Hochi Shimbun, Tokyo, 1904.

On left bottom side signature of the artist in Japanese.

Condition: age-related yellowing paper
with a slight crease at the folded page.
