From one fat quarter you can cut 12 5in x 5in squares or "charms". This collection will give you 504 5in x 5in squares.

You can also cut 7 2.5in x 22in strips or half the width of a "jelly roll" strip. This collection will give you 294 2.5in x 22in strips.

Or you can cut 2 10in x 10in squares or "layer cakes", and still have enough for another 4 5in x 5in squares and 1 2.5in x 22in strip.
