Vintage Japanese kimono silk shipping scarf Fall Fans

This is a gorgeous silk panel from a vintage kimono, dates 1950-60s. The colors are fantastic and very Fall like in ochre, green and dark brown. The design is a very pleasing fan motif. The silk is medium weight and smooth.

The reverse is pongee, a woven silk, with a soft, smooth texture. It is a light weight silk, high quality and durable shipping. The printed design is in dark yellow, green, and a hint of blue.

I immediately loved how these two panels complimented each other, not only in color, but design and texture. They are from the same era and so the colors match beautifully.

I have hand laundered both panels before sewing but recommend dry cleaning in the future.

I love to wear my kimono silk scarves anywhere and everywhere. They add a bit of sophistication and elegance to any outfit.

It measures 12 inches by 54 inches.
