Antique Victorian watercolour painting portrait of lady shipping in period frame signed dated 1851

Here is a beautiful antique watercolour portrait painting, dated to the back 1851.

This lovely quality medium sized portrait is hand painted in watercolour paint onto paper, it depicts a lady with curled hair wearing a bonnet and period clothes. Signed Edwin Dalton Smith, and to the back the date 1851, it comes behind glass in I think the original oval frame which looks to have been re-painted gold with inner gold mount as seen in the photos. Strong hanging loop to the top, the back has been freshly done also with sting hanger as well. It is in very good condition for tis age the painting is brilliant with only very minor marks, the frame looks to have been re-painted and shipping will display very well. Please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition.
