Vintage Hand-carved Wooden African shipping Figure with Offering Bowl

This vintage seated African figure holds a traditional offertory bowl.

We are unsure its age or country of origin.

It is 5" high and 4" across bottom. It is in good condition though the right ear appears to be chipped and the blackness shipping of the bowl indicates perhaps incense was once burnt in it.
