Vintage Silent shipping Sam Salt and Pepper Set

Hard to find, porcelain, Silent Sam cartoon character salt and pepper set. Produced in Germany in the 1930's. Later sets were produced in Japan in the 1950's. Silent Sam was a Europen cartoon character created by Swedish cartoonist Oscar Jacobson in the 1920's until 1964.
The set is beautifully made, with vibrant colors. They measure 3 1/2" tall, Sam with the hat is the salt shaker with 3 holes. Sam without the hat is the pepper shipping shaker with 2 holes.
Excellent quality, both are missing their rubber stoppers. Bottom is stamped Germany. The company was Goebel. No cracks, chips or repairs, they could use a little cleaning. Any white spots are from my camera. Postage includes insurance. I do mail outside of the USA, contact me for correct postage.
