This is an unusual pin, not sure what it's made of but I think it's some kind of stone I scratcher it with my fingernail, hard, like stone, I washed it, put it into shipping my mouth It's some kind of stone that's been carved and polished, yes I washed it off when out of my mouth. This has a piece just between the eyes on the back so you can add a chain and make it into a necklace. The red eyes are also stone. Stored in a padded little red bag.
