Wood Fired Gourd Shaped Oribe Style Tokkuri shipping Sake Pitcher

Here is a beautiful wood fired gourd shaped Oribe style stoneware tokkuri bottle. This bottle was made on the potter's wheel and carved. Then slip was painted on. This bottle was glazed with an Oribe style glaze and has a natural wood ash glaze from fly ash melting onto the pot during the firing. This bottle measures 8" h x 3.25" (20.3 cm x 8.3 cm ). This bottle holds 500ml (approximately 16.9 oz).

This bottle is food and top rack dishwasher safe in case you want to use it as a serving pitcher. Hand-washing is the safest way to shipping clean artisan pottery.
This bottle was fired in an anagama kiln for 3 days.
