Wood shipping fired vase

This vase was wheel thrown, trimmed and bisque fired in my home studio. Then wood fired for 3 days in train kiln at Cobb mountain art shipping and ecology in CA. Wood was all harvested as part of land management on land, cured, splitted and used as fuel. Colors on surface is all natural wood ash melted became glaze and pattern is created by movement of fire. Cruster on the side is oyster shells which was on the bottom. Red color part was shady part, greenish part is where wood ash landed.
