Steampunk shipping Semi-Automatic Pepperbox Revolver Prop

We have wanted to do a steampunk weapon for some time. There are many representations of steampunk weapons to choose from, but we wanted one that both captured design elements of the steam era, and represented feasible engineering. It was then that it occurred to me that the expansion of gasses released by a black powder explosion could be harnessed much the same way as the steam generated in a locomotive engine. once harnessed, those gasses could be used to both reset the hammer, and push a piston that would turn a set of gears to rotate the barrel assembly to the next loaded barrel. The result was a pepperbox revolver as it would be if designed by a steam locomotive engineer. This is of course a non-working model, but that is a good thing since most of the bigger cons tend to frown on working guns.

This item is 3D printed in ABS and PLA plastic. It requires three days of printing and another two days of sanding vapor smoothing and hand painting. As always, quality is our first priority so please be patient as we shipping give your order our full attention.
