French vintage brass footed dish / centrepiece with shaped top and lots of character.

This is a delightful footed dish in brass with pointed edges around the top. The base has been fixed to the top and not very neatly, as you can see on photo 10.

The dish clearly has some age, as you can see from the underside of the base. It has many marks of age and a unique character. The top is no longer exactly circular, it has obviously had a few knocks. There are dark marks and knocks in various other places. Please take a good look at the photos.

This is a shipping delightful decorative item, it would look lovely as the center piece to a festive dining table.
