“The Fortress of Brixia and it's miles long wall and ramparts is a stark reminder of the long lasting tensions between the Humans of Berytus to the north The Fortress and the Esari Elves that reside to the south of it.

Brixia was built by the First empire of Berytus to keep the Elves and their blood magic at bay and protect the villages and shipping farms. It resulted in the Isolation of the Empire and its ultimate collapse.

The Fortress still stands and is manned by a small contingent of soldiers that keep a watchful eye on pirates and highwaymen rather than the elves.”
