Product Name: Vintage shipping
This fantastically ornate, very heavy and detailed cast iron frame was made in Germany. It stands 14 inches tall and is 11 1/2 inches wide. The image opening measures 8 inches X 6 3/4” inches. There is no shipping glass in the frame. An antique paper label pasted on the back panel has the words “Rahman Reichard Wiesbaden.” The frame has a fold-out ornate cast iron retaining stand which allows it to stand up on a flat surface. Of the six screw holes and small metal dogs on the back of the frame for securing a portrait in the frame, four are present and there are two screws/dogs missing, as is shown in the photos. The photo mounted in the frame is of an unknown 1940s-vintage U. S. Army soldier; it is securely mounted into the frame with the four screws/dogs present and does not move. From the estate of a U. S. armed forces veteran who passed away in Enid, OK. This rare frame will be one you will treasure.
