"Drowning in Savannahland"

Swimming gators, bits of Savannah references, all thrown together on canvas. Shimmering in Metallic tones and cropped for a beautiful but vaguely uncomfortable and claustrophobic feeling.

Heavily textured canvas painted white shipping with wooden letters adhered and painted to the surface. Coated partially in two tones of metallic grey acrylic paint. The final step was two alligator stencils sprayed on the left side of the canvas.

30" x 30" with thick 1.5" edges. Hanging hardware attached.
