Nefertiti The Egyptian Queen Ceramic Porcelain Vessel Made in Jingdezhen China. This handmade ceramic porcelain vessel was made at an art residency in Jingdezhen China at the Pottery Workshop. Jingdezhen has the world's finest porcelain dating back to the ancient dynasties of the emperors.

I made this Nefertiti cup as a response to rapid prototyping and the ability to remake very valuable and precious objects that live only in shipping museums. Now as the world shifts into new territories what will be coveted in these museums, what can not be re-made and will not be reconfigured...

This Nefertiti vessel is cobalt ceramic material added to the world's purest and finest porcelain which has added an amazing array of blue and white swirls to the art piece. Colored clay pebble shapes are attached to around the back and sides and this has sculpture has a digital faceted effect and looks different at every angle. The glaze has been finished by a process called PVD which is done in China, which gives it this shiny metallic look.
