Original $1000 Confederate Bond issued under the Act of March 23, 1863 from Richmond, Virginia. It has the hand written serial number “3353” and was hand signed by the Register of the Treasury. The bond was engraved and printed by George Dunn & Company, Richmond, Virginia. The vignette is of the Treasury Building in Richmond. There were 15,046 issued of this type Bond.

There were coupons at the bottom which were payable monthly and have been cut off and redeemed at the Treasury.

The Bond will come in an archival sleeve. It measures 11” x 14”.

All of the artifacts are guaranteed to be original as stated. A hand signed and dated “Certificate of Authenticity” will shipping be issued by Collectors Frame with a photograph and description of the items purchased.
