Very nice box whose shipping lid was painted.
The scene is naïve and charming.
A young girl is trying to train cats with a whip.
The floor and the wall paper are well painted.
Outside one can see the trees in the orchard .
The painting itself is in good condition and the cats are delightful.
It is signed J.Gielen/ 1989.
The sides of the box were painted in black and the 4 corners show
Paint gaps.
Fortunately, this is an easy part to restore .
