DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful antique French hanging pin cushion dating early 1900's, it has round shape and it's made from lavander - lilac color silk finely ruffled ribbon. The central area is ornated by applied cream nel lace with a design of flower encircled by tiny dots.
The antique pin cushion can be hung through a small bow made from the same silk ribbon and attached to the cushion body by two stripes, the bow is embroidered with tiny glass beads in silver - grey shipping color, and ornated by a small "fringe" made with the same glass beads.

HOW TO USE IT:
Pretty, unique, one-of-a-kind Victorian - Edwardian pin cushion, wonderful to add to your antique French sewing basket or to give the final touch to your boudoir decoration.

CONDITIONS:
This antique Victorian pin cushion is in wonderful conditions for such an old and delicate textile. Silk is soft and supple with no dry rot and there are no splits, there are no stains and no ofensive odours.

The pin cushion diameter is 3 3/4" (9.5 cm), it is 1 1/4" (3 cm) thick and 5 5/8" (14 cm) tall.
